Sources have confirmed that SEGA is planning to release Jet Set Radio HD for both the iOS and Android platforms as well as Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, which were already announced.

The decision to bring it to additional platforms isn’t surprising, as many publishers, including SEGA, are paying additional attention to mobile platforms to capture additional revenue from remastered or re-released titles.

According to sources, the iOS and Android versions will feature the same game play and soundtrack as the version being released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. In addition, the iOS and Android versions will offer support for enhanced displays such as the Retina display.

SEGA has yet to confirm a release date, but the additional versions are in the development pipeline for release.
