Originally, we had heard that the upcoming NBA 2K13 would support voice commands using both Kinect for Xbox 360 and Move for PlayStation 3. The voice support would be used for calling plays and moving specific players on the fly.

Sources tell us that a decision was made to drop the PlayStation 3 Move support from the game at the last minute. The game will retain Kinect support, but it is optional, of course.

There is no word why the decision was made to drop Move support this late in the game. NBA 2K13 will be arriving this October for the major consoles as well as the PC.
