Play the beta & get 60 minutes of double XP

Danger Close has announced that the public beta for Medal of Honor: Warfighter will be an Xbox 360 exclusive. When it is released in early October, those that download it will get 60 minutes of double XP from playing the beta once the actual game is released. No reason was given for the decision to release the public beta only for the Xbox 360 platform.

From what we understand, the beta will contain one single player map and only offer the single player game mode; there is no multiplayer from what we have been able to uncover. The game mode for the single player map will be called HotSpot, which is set in a Sarajevo Stadium in Bosnia that will see players attacking and defending random locations within the map.

The Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC will all get Medal of Honor: Warfighter on October 23rd in North America and October 26th in Europe. Early previews of the game have been positive for the game that is being powered by DICE’s Frostbite 2 engine. Unlike the previous Medal of Honor title, developer Danger Close will be handling both the single player and multiplayer facets of the game. DICE is not handling the multiplayer for the title this time around.
