Microsoft has confirmed that they will be returning to Gamescon this year; and sources say the company will host another press conference for Xbox One in hope of improving on the disaster that was the last two Xbox One press conferences.

Details are sketchy at the moment, but the company is believed to be talking with some third-party studios to have some new material to show off this time around. In addition, it will give Microsoft the ability to help promote the console in Europe where Sony and Nintendo have always done much better than Microsoft.

The Gamescon event is being held in Cologne, Germany from August 21st to 25th. The company is expected to announce more details in the weeks ahead. Let’s just hope that the next big press event is much better this time around, as Microsoft continues to try to build momentum for the Xbox One, which will be released in November.
