While we have continued to hear that Grand Theft Auto V for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC will not make the rumored November release date. As a reply to all of the rumors, a new trailer for GTA 5 was released that seemed to stress that the November release date was still on.
While no one has officially confirmed it, word from the distribution channel is that Rockstar is targeting a release date of November 11th in North America and November 14th in Europe as the release dates for the next-generation console and PC release. So far neither Rockstar or Take 2 Interactive has confirmed these release dates as valid, only going as far as to say that right now a November release is planned.
We have to believe that the developers are eager to make sure this version makes it out the door on time as the release windows get even more crowded as we move into 2015 and with several titles already being pulled from release for the 2014 holiday season, for sure Rockstar will rake in some serious coin for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions if they make the holiday season this year. We suspect the developers will crunch hard to make it happen.
If they have to let anything go and not make the release in November, we suspect that it will be the PC version of the game. We will update you with more as we get it.
