Xbox One update adds more in October

by on10 September 2014

Gamerscore 30 day review stats coming

It seems as if every month now Xbox One owners get a present in the form of new tweaks and updates to the Xbox One system software. These additions have added things that we now take for granted on the Xbox 360 to new features that make owners happier with their Xbox One.

October will be no different. The October update will put a focus on Gamerscore by adding a new Gamerscore leaderboard and stats from the Gamerscore that they have achieved in the last 30 days. The leaderboard will allow you to see where you stand compared to your friends by Gamerscore.

Beyond the Gamerscore tweaks, we will see better controller support for video capture. The latest enhancements will allow Xbox One users to double-tap the Xbox button and then press X to capture the last 30 seconds of gameplay.

The continued updates have continued to grow the abilities of the Xbox One and that is a good thing as the system software is much better than when the system launched that is for sure.
