Harmonix to add three new songs
Back in February of 2013 Rockband developer Harmonix confirmed that they had no plans after April of 2013 to provide any additional DLC songs. Now we have learned that the will be releasing three new songs for purchase and download.
The new songs are compatible with both Rock Band 3 and Rock Band Blitz on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The new songs will cost $2 each. The new songs are:
- Artic Monkeys R U Mine?
- Avenged Sevenfold – Shepherd of Fire
- Foo Fighters – Something From Nothing
While fans might hope that this is a trend and there are more songs to come, but unless sales are off the charts we doubt that more will be coming. Of course you never know. Maybe it is just a warm up to test the waters for a Rock band 4 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4? We can only wish.
