APB to be reloaded again for console

by on26 January 2015

Free-to-play version coming in second quarter

Way back into 2010 a developer called Realtime Worlds released a game called APB: All Points Bulletin. The game didn't do very well and the studio fell into administration and the game rights were sold to Reloaded who modified the game to make it a free-to-play experience on the PC.

Now we speed up to present day and find out that the city of San Paro will once again be the battleground for APB Reloaded on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in this free-to-play edition that is coming in the second quarter of 2015. Xbox One owners will need a Xbox Live Gold account to play for free, but PS4 owners can play with or without a PSN account.

The game is a micro transaction paradise, but they hope that will not stop you. Developer Workshop Entertainment is working with the developers at Reloaded games. Publisher Deep Silver is also on board for this console release.
