According to Activision's Scott Lowe, the new Call of Duty Black Ops III has been under development by Treyarch for the last three years and will be the first Black Ops title made for next-gen hardware.
While there are no details regarding the story, at least not officially since Activision is keeping all the details for the April 26th unveil, some info regarding the game has surfaced, including a short description of game which states that Black Ops III puts a player into "a dark, twisted future where a new breed of Black Ops soldiers emerges and the lines are blurred between our own humanity and the technology we created to stay ahead, in a world where cutting-edge military robotics define warfare," as well as a fact that it will feature Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies mode.
