PlayStation 4 drops to £300, €321 in Austria

€350 for rest of Europe, $350 US

The holiday shopping season has started and Sony has decided to cut its prices for about €50 in Europe to catch up with the recent price drop in the US.

The price drop might be the part of a cunning plan or it might be a reaction to a recent announcement that the company has to postpone Uncharted 4 launch until 2016.

The recent price adjustment see the PlayStation 4 at £300 in the UK, $350 USD in states and €350 in most of Europe. The Austrian discounter Hofer offered even better deal for its customers.

He will give you a 500 GB HDD and Dual Shock 4 controller for €321 which is the lowest price we could find. This was a limited offer of course and they are selling out rather quickly. The retail chain Saturn has this deal and will sell you a console online for the €321.

The Xbox One with a Gear of War will sell for €349 which is putting a lot of pressure on Sony for a price adjustment. Both options are rather good and will offer a good gaming experience, but if you want the king of the hill with 4K gaming you will have to get a rather high end PC that will end up being more than €1000.
