The Returnal is Sony and Housemarque’s third-person shooter that launched back in February with support for DLSS 2 and ray tracing, and now, the developer is also bringing support for DLSS 3, which should make RTX 40 series owners quite happy. According to Nvidia, you can expect a high-performance uplift across the entire RTX 40 series range.
While the RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 were already capable of delivering over 60 FPS with all settings maxed out, DLSS 3 also makes it possible on the RTX 4070 Ti and the RTX 4070 as well.
The Lord of The Rings Gollum game from Daedalic Entertainment launches on May 25th, and it will support both DLSS 3 and DLSS 2, as well as ray-traced reflections and shadows and Nvidia Reflex. Nvidia and Daedalic Entertainment also launched a neat trailer showing off some of those visual effects. There are also new PC system requirements attached, including those with and without ray tracing effects.
The rest of the games on the list that now support DLSS 2 include Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 6, GUN JAM, and STRANGER OF PARADISE FINAL FANTASY ORIGIN, which is now available on Steam.
