CUDA to make serious money in 2010

and the rest of Nvidia really believe that CUDA is the most important thing / market where Nvidia wants to go and this vision won't be that easy to pass on to the investors.

In the long term, CUDA might be the next source of income for Nvidia, but in whole 2009, it might earn $50 to $100 million, which is a joke, compared to what company makes on graphics chip sales for gaming and multi-media.

Things should become better in 2010 where these numbers should grow substantially, and CUDA is a long-term investment for Nvidia. The GPU computational market is something that Nvidia does very well and we’ve see that GPU can be faster than a CPU in these things.

This is why Intel is going out with Larrabee, as Intel wants a big piece of computational market of any kind.
