New Black Pearl under development?

We managed to find out that EVGA will also have a water cooled GTX 295 card, but the date as well as some concrete specifications are still unknown, as the card is yet to be finalized.

We already wrote about Zotac's plans to introduce the water cooled GTX 295 as well as the GTX 285 cards, and it's nice to know that EVGA is working on a water-cooled card as well. The design behind the GTX 295 card is quite simple as the water block is simply sandwiched between two PCBs.

The last Black Pearl card was the 8800 Ultra, and since then EVGA has ditched the brand. We honestly hope that the Black Pearl brand might return with the GTX 295, as it sounds much better than EVGA's last water-cooled card, dubbed GTX 280 HC16.

The water-cooled GTX 295 might show up sometime at the end of February and we hope that we will be able to see one at the Cebit show in March.
