The Beast at 841MHz
Point of View and its TGT Tuning team have rolled out the fastest card based on Nvidia's GTX 570 GPU, the POV/TGT Geforce GTX 570 "Beast". Running at an impressive 841MHz core clock, the new GTX 570 will be available in two versions depending on the choice of the cooler.

As noted, POV/TGT managed to get its cream of the crop GTX 570 version to work at an impressive 841MHz core clock, 1682MHz shader clock, while memory ended up at 3960MHz. This is quite an achievement considering that the reference card works at 732MHz for the GPU, 1464MHz for shaders and 3800MHz for the same 1280MB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 320-bit memory interface.

The new POV/TGT GTX 570 Beast will be available in two versions, depending on the cooler. The first one features a reference cooler and is a bit cheaper than the second version that features a 9mm slim-line AquaCopper water cooling block.

The GTX 570 already impressed us with it performance and price back when we reviewed it, and PVO/TGT now made a deal even better. The water-cooled GTX 570 Beast will end up with a suggested retail price of €499, while the air-cooled (reference cooler) models has a suggested retail price of €449.

Both cards are announced to be in retail/e-tail pretty soon and we managed to find the air-cooled one listed in EU for as low as €443.
