AMD has released the second version of its Catalyst 13.8 Beta drivers that will bring some game specific performance improvements and fix some image quality issues in various games.
The games specific performance improvements start with up to 25 percent in Saints Row 4 game at Ultra settings and 1920x1080 resolution, up to 9 percent in Splinter Cell: Blacklist at Ultra settings and 2560x1600 resolution as well as single-GPU and CrossfireX performance in Final Fantasy XIV and titles like RIPD and Castlevania Lords of Shadow.
The new Catalyst 13.8 Beta V2 driver also fixes image quality issues in games like Van Helsing, Far Cry 3, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and Doom 3 BFG Edition as well as CrossFire frame-pacing issues in World of Warcraft, Sniper Elite, Watch Dogs and Tomb Raider.
