For the Geforce GTX 980 and GTX 970

Just a few days after it released Geforce 344.11 WHQL and Geforce 344.16 Beta drivers, Nvidia has now rolled out the new Geforce 344.16 WHQL driver, aimed to be used only with the new Maxwell GPU based Geforce GTX 980 and the Geforce GTX 970 graphics cards.

Earlier last week, Nvidia rolled out the official Geforce 344.11 WHQL driver which brought support for the newly released Geforce GTX 980 and the Geforce GTX 970 graphics cards as well as the Geforce 344.16 Beta driver, which lacked detailed release notes but was fixing some bugs with aforementioned graphics cards.

While the release notes for the Geforce 344.16 WHQL drivers are still not clear on what exactly the new driver fixes, it still only supports the Geforce GTX 980 and the Geforce GTX 970 graphics cards, suggesting that bug fixes might be related to those graphics cards.

The new Geforce 344.16 WHQL driver is still the Game Ready driver fo Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, The Evil Within, F1 2014, and Alien: Isolation and has support for Nvidia G-SYNC and G-SYNC Surround

The new driver is available for Windows Vista, 7, 8 and Windows 8.1 in both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors and can be found at Nvidia's official driver support site.
