Sapphire to demonstrate AMD FirePro graphics at HMI

Several customers will showcase solutions

AMD and Sapphire, which is the exclusive global distribution partner for AMD FirePro graphics, will be joining up with several customers in order to demonstrate a range of hardware and software solutions based on AMD FirePro graphics during Hannover Messe Industrial Show (HMI).

The event will take place at the Hannover Messe Industrial Show (HMI), which will be held in Hannover, Germany, from April 13th to April 17th, Sapphire will team up with several customers, including Schneider Digital, Tarox, Prographics and others, in order to demonstrate hardware solutions and software applications accelerated by AMD FirePro graphics.

Optimized and certified for professional applications, AMD's FirePro Workstation products are based on next-gen architectures and include multi-display solutions, thanks to AMD Eyefinity Technology, while AMD Server GPUs for HPC, Virtualization and Cloud Gaming, also known as AMD FirePro S-series and AMD Radeon Sky graphics cards are designed to handle performance demands of data centers, cloud gaming, remote workstations, virtual environments and similar applications.

The star of the show will be a 6x3m video wall done by Schneider Digital with 6x full HD resolution and laser-projected images, all powered by AMD FirePro W9100 graphics card with six DisplayPort outputs in Eyefinity mode. Those looking for CAD and design solutions will be able to see Tarox system designed for OpenGL and OpenCL while Prographics will demonstrate a small form-factor workstation based on AMD FirePro W5100 graphics card.

Sapphire has been pushing AMD FirePro lineup quite vigorously recently and HMI show in Hannover will be a perfect place for professional users to check out the full lineup.
