While it does not improve anything other than the looks of the graphics card, the new shroud does look quite a lot better than the original one and includes a new LED on the front that can be controlled the same way as the Geforce logo on the top of Nvidia reference cooled GTX graphics cards.
In case you missed it before, EVGA's Hybrid series are pretty much based on reference PCB design but feature an all-in-one liquid cooler that takes care of the GPU, while the blower fan cools down the VRM and the memory.
Calling it the Hybrid Faceoff Program, the shourd can be yours for free as long as you can prove that you own one of those three Hybrid series graphics cards.
