Spotted by Techpowerup.com, the Gigabyte GTX 1060 Xtreme Gaming uses a custom PCB with high-end VRM and comes with a next generation Windforce 2X Xtreme Gaming triple-slot dual-fan cooler. In order to cope with a hefty factory-overclock, the Windforce 2X Xtreme Gaming cooler has a large heatsink area connected to the GPU via three 8mm heatpipes and comes with two 100mm fans that spin in opposite directions.
Specification-wise, the Gigabyte GTX 1060 6G Xtreme Gaming uses Nvidia's GP106 Pascal GPU with 1280 CUDA cores and has a factory overclock of 1645MHz GPU base and 1873MHz GPU Boost clocks in OC Mode. The 6GB of GDDR5 memory, paired up with a 192-bit memory interface is overclocked to 8316MHz.
Gigabyte did not forget the current RGB LED trend so the cooler has some in the Xtreme Gaming logo at the top of the card as well as the X-shaped part at the front.
Unfortunately, there are no details regarding the price or the precise availability date but we expect it on retail/e-tail shelves soon.
