AMD releases Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.10.1 drivers

Brings optimizations for Gears of War 4 and Mafia 3

AMD has released its latest Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.10.1 drivers which have all the necessary optimizations for two new games, Gears of War 4 and Mafia 3, as well as a couple of other minor fixes and improvements.

According to release notes published by AMD, the  Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.10.1 drivers are mainly released to bring optimal gaming experience for Microsoft's Gears of War 4, launching October 11th, and 2K Games' Mafia 3 game, launching on October 7th.

In addition to those two games, the  Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.10.1 drivers also bring the new DirectX 11 Crossfire profile for Shadow Warrior 2 as well as a couple of other fixes.

The list of new fixed bugs includes mostly include issues with flickering and AMD Crossfire in games like Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Battlefield 1, Overwatch and Paragon but also issues like random or sudden FPS drops in The Crew or issues seen with Power Limit settings in Radeon WattMan.

As always, the new drivers are available for Windows 10, Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 in both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors and support all AMD Radeon graphics cards since the HD 7900/7700 series.
