According to details provided by Sapphire, there will be a total of five different custom SKUs with the RX 6800 XT Nitro+ SE (Special Edition) as the flagship model. This one will have also three fans with ARGB (Addressable RGB), and include a single HDMI 2.1, two DisplayPort 1.4, and one USB Type-C port. It will also come with a custom backplate with the Nitro RGB logo.
As expected, this one will have the highest factory overclock but there are still no details on how far the partners can push these custom versions.
In addition to the RX 6800 XT Nitro+ SE, Sapphire will also have a couple of standard Nitro+ versions, and these will lack the RGB fans as well as the USB Type-C port, but still come with all other bells and whistles. We also expect a high factory-overclock on these as well.
For those on a budget, Sapphire will also have the RX 6800 Pulse and the RX 6800 XT Pulse cards, which will also lack RGB lighting, but still come with three fans, and a vented backplate.
Of course, these will probably have a more modest factory-overclock.
As we wrote earlier, AMD AIB partners are gearing up for the RX 6800 series launch and should have custom versions ready by the end of this month. Unfortunately, there is still no word about custom RX 6900 XT cards, but hopefully, AMD will give the green light soon.
