AMD could show Radeon RX 7600 at Computex show

by on24 April 2023

Might hold the Radeon RX 7800/7700 series for now

According to the latest information, it appears that AMD might show the Radeon RX 7600 series at the Computex 2023 show.

With the Nvidia Geforce RTX 4060 Ti rumored to launch by the end of May or early June, this puts AMD in a rather tough position, as its rumored Radeon RX 7800 XT could end up against the Geforce RTX 4070, which simply would not be profitable to AMD. This makes sense, especially since Nvidia has allegedly stopped supplying its board partners with Geforce RTX 4070 and RTX 4080 chips, since there is plenty of stock in retail/e-tail.

With RTX 4060 Ti launching this soon, and will fit into the sub-500 bracket, AMD has to counter it, and the Radeon RX 7600 is the answer. According to Igor's Lab, AMD-exclusive AIB partners could show their Radeon RX 7600 series graphics cards at Computex, while other partners, that have both AMD and Nvidia graphics cards, could wait a bit and feel the pulse of the market.

In any case, Computex 2023 kicks off on May 30th, and we will obviously see some interesting keynotes and product announcements.
