AMD latest GPU driver adds Anti-Lag+ to Counter Strike 2

by on12 October 2023

Optimizations for Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, Lords of the Fallen and Forza Motorsport

AMD has released its latest version of the AMD Software Adrenalin driver, the v23.10.1 WHQL, which adds optimizations for Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, Lords of the Fallen and Forza Motorsport, as well as adds Anti-Lag+ support for Counter Strike 2.

In addition to fixing several things including crashes in Starfield on RX 7000 series, it also fixes both stuttering and crashing (with MSAA or FSR enabled) in Counter Strike 2. It also fixes issues with EA SPORTS FC 24, and some other issues. As said, it brings optimizations for Ubisoft's Assassin’s Creed: Mirage game, which supports FSR 2.2, as well as the upcoming Lords of Fallen, which comes on October 28th and should support FSR 3.

Thanks to support for Anti-Lag+ in Counter Strike 2, AMD GPU users can experience lower latency, allowing the game to feel more responsive. Unfortunately, the game did not receive a lot of praise and is currently Valve's lowest-rated game on Steam.

You can download the new AMD Software Adrenalin v23.10.1 WHQL driver over at AMD's support page.
