The new version, originally spotted by Videocardz.com, is somewhat similar to the Gigabyte RX 7800 XT Gaming OC, and comes with a triple-slot triple-fan WindForce 3X cooler. In case you missed it, the Radeon RX 7900 GRE is based on the Navi 31 GPU and packs 80 Compute Units, leaving it with 5,120 Stream Processors with full 192 ROPs and 320 TMUs. It packs 64MB of Infinity Cache and 16GB of 18Gbps GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit memory interface. The TDP is set at 260W.
As it is a part of Gigabyte's Gaming OC lineup, it is expected to have a decent factory overclock.
The Gigabyte RX 7900 GRE is now rumored to launch in Europe and could be quite a popular version as it could fit neatly between the RX 7800 XT and the RX 7900 XT.
