Super Talent has updated its line of solid state drives with a new TeraDrive series member, the TeraDrive PT3 powered by the Sandforce SF-2200 series controller.

The new TeraDrive PT3 features SF-2200 series controller with "write acceleration" technology paired up with MLC NAND flash chips and SATA 6Gbps interface. It comes wiht TRIM support and is capable of reaching over 500MB/s in both read and write sequential performance.

The new TeraDrive PT3 will be available in 60, 120, 240 and 480GB capacities and should already be available. Unfortunately, there hasn't been any talk regarding the price of this new SSD series.
