Corsair has launched a new line of high-performance DDR3 memory aimed at PC overclockers, enthusiasts, and system builders, the Vengeance Pro Series DDR3. To be available in capacities of up to 64GB and speeds of up to 2933MHz, the Vengeance Pro series will also feature a new aluminum heatsinks in four different color accents.
The entire Vengeance Pro line will feature an eight-layer PCB and RAM ICs that are specially screened and picked for speed and overclocking headroom and will feature XMP 1.3 profiles. The new kits will use new "aggresively" styled, 44mm high aluminum heat spreaders in silver, red, blue or gold accents that should allow wide choice for enthusiasts, gamers and modders to pair it up with their favorite setup.
As noted earlier, the new Vengeance Pro DDR3 series will be available as 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB (2x4, 4x4, 2x8, 4x8, 8x8) kits and at 1600MHz, 1866MHz, 2133MHz, 2400MHz, 2666MHz, 2800MHz, 2933MHz, depending on the SKU. Corsair also announced an optional Vengeance Pro Airflow fan that has a single 60mm fan that spins from 2500RPM to 3500RPM and features a replacable fan shroud cover in red, blue or silver to match the kits as well as the variable mounting brackets adjustable between socket formats.
During Computex, Corsair also demonstrated the 3200MHz C11 Vengeance Pro Series 8GB memory kits that should be announced at a later date.
