Breaks the world record

It was just a matter of time before we see some records broken with the new Intel Skylake platform and G.Skill has announced that its Ripjaws 4 memory reached a rather impressive 4795.8MHz, which is the new frequency world record.

While plenty of overclockers are still tuning their Skylake systems to pull the highest possible overclocking result, a well known overclocker Chi-Kui Lam, managed to push G.Skill's Ripjaws 4 memory with Samsung ICs to a rather incredible 4795.8MHz. The overclocking was done on ASRock's Z170 OC Formula motherboard with Intel's Core i7-6700K CPU and with a lot of LN2.

G.Skill was also quite keen to brag that its Ripjaws 4 memory was used in many other Skylake overclocking records and we are quite sure that extreme overclockers will push those scores even higher.
