While DDR4 is currently the main memory when it comes to frequency overclocking records, Corsair has decided to demo a 4000MHz clocked Vengeance LPX DDR4 memory at IDF 2015 show in San Francisco.

Showing off systems based on Intel's latest Core i7-6700K Skylake CPU and Z170 chipset based motherbaord, Corsair will be one of the first manufacturers to have a commercially available DDR4 DIMM kits clocked at 4GHz.

Currently, G.Skill leads the pack as most of the frequency records at HWBOT.org are done with Ripjaws 4 and the new TridentZ kits but we guess it is just a matter of time before Corsair joins those ranks as well.

Currently, the highest clocked DDR4 memory modules you can buy in Europe are exactly Corsair's Vengeance LPX 1GB and G.Skill's Ripjaws V 16GB kits and we will soon see some of those with 4GHz+ frequency.
