According to G.Skill, the new 64GB DDR4 Trident Z kit works at 3200MHz and tight 14-14-14-35 latency at 1.35V. Although this is not a fastest DDR4 kit in G.Skill's lineup, as it has recently introduced a couple of kits ranging from 3200MHz all the way to 4133MHz, the new Trident Z kit is the highest capacity DDR4 kit we have seen so far. G.Skill notes that these modules are based on high-quality Samsung chips, which is why they can achieve such high frequency at tight latency.
G.Skill also announced that it will have 16GB and 32GB kits based on the same specifications soon and that the entire lineup has XMP 2.0 support making them fully compatible with Intel's latest Z170 Express chipset motherboards.
Unfortunately, G.Skill did not unveil any details regarding the price or the precise availability date, but did say that the new 64GB Trident Z DDR4-3200 kit will be available on retail/e-tail shelves before Christmas.
