To be available in in 8GB and 16GB modules, as well as 16GB and 32GB memory kits, the new G.Skill Ripjaws DDR4-3000 SO-DIMM series works at 3000MHz with 16-18-18-43 latency and at 1.2V.
G.Skill already offers 16GB and 32GB Ripjaws SO-DIMM kits but these were previously only available at 2133MHz, 2400MHz, 2666MHz and 2800MHz. The latest 3000MHz addition is obviously aimed at high-end notebooks and SFF gaming systems running on DDR4 memory. The new Ripjaws DDR4 SO-DIMM support Intel's latest XMP 2.0 standard designed for Intel 6th generation Core Skylake CPUs and should be available in April.
Unfortunately, G.Skill did not reveal any details regarding the price.
