Based on the highly praised and hand-picked Samsung B-die ICs, the new Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB kit comes in two 8GB modules and uses the recognizable Vengeance black low-profile heatsinks. As noted, the kit hits DDR4 4,600MHz frequency at CL19-26-26-46 latency at 1.5V.
While this might be the fastest Vengeance LPX kit from Corsair, it also offers a couple of other Vengeance LPX kits that target capacity rather than speed, including the 128GB (8x16GB) DDR4-3800, 64GB (8x8GB) DDR4-4200 and the 32GB (4x8GB and 2x16GB) kits running at 4,133MHz and 4,000MHz, respectively.
Unfortunately, the kit is not yet listed over at Corsair's own website, but the company claims it will be available on the 21st of September with an MSRP of US $549.99.
