Up to 128GB and up to 3200MHz

G.Skill has announced a couple of new Trident Z RGB memory kits which are optimized for AMD's Ryzen and Ryzen Threadripper CPUs, which will be available running at up to 3200MHz and coming in up to 128GB in capacity.

As noted, G.Skill has a couple of kits, available with frequency ranging from 2400MHz at 15-15-15-35 latency and 1.2V, 2933MHz available in 14-14-14-34 and 16-16-16-36 latency at 1.35V and 3200MHz at 14-14-14-34 latency at the same 1.35V. These kits will be also available in 16GB (2x8GB), 32GB (2x16GB and 4x8GB), 64GB (4x16GB and 8x8GB) and 128GB (8x16GB) capacity.

As you can see from the table below, G.Skill also separates these kits as those aimed at AMD Ryzen and those aimed at Threadripper platforms, with most of the Threadripper kits available in 8 module configurations.

G.Skill also noted that these can be differentiated from Intel-optimized kits by their model number, with AMD ones having an "X" at the end.

The new G.Skill Trident Z RGB AMD Ryzen optimized memory kits will be using the same recognizable G.Skill Trident Z RGB black heatsink with RGB bar on top of it.

Unfortunately, G.Skill did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date but these should start to appear on retail/e-tail shelves soon.
