Video acceleration drivers for HTC devices will see the light of the day, said Dr. Florian Seiche, vice president of HTC Europe during the World Mobile Congress interview in Barcelona last week. After all, they will bring these devices to their full potential.
Certain users of HTC devices, such as the HTC Titan II, reported that they find that the video performance was not up to the standards which this kind of device should produce. They even started the Website http://www.htcclassaction.org/, to spread the awareness about the issues with recent PDA’s and Smartphone from HTC, but they also mentioned the lawsuit against them if they fail to make the device as it should be, according to htcclassaction.org.
Devices were not unusable by any means, but the enthusiastic users simply expected more performance from powerful Qualcomm MSM7200 and MSM 7500 chipsets. Well, the drivers will be released soon but we didn’t get the exact release date. Hopefully, the new drivers will restore HTC's good reputation of being one of the best manufacturers of Windows Mobile platform devices.
