Google's, or should we say Samsung's Nexus S smartphone is slated to start shipping in the US on Thursday.

Best Buy outlets will start selling the Nexus S at 8AM Eastern. The contract-free price is $529 and under a T-Mobile plan it will cost $199. Sales will be limited to two units per customer.

The British Isles will have to wait till December 20. Carphone Warehouse will carry it at £549, unlocked of course. The rest of the world can expect the Nexus S sometime in early 2011.
