The phone has a slightly different interface from standard Android 2.2 (Froyo) and a big promise that it will support Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) through an over the air upgrade at some point. Plans are for it to launch in Q1 in both US and Europe.
The device has 1GHz Tegra 2 processor as well as 512MB of memory as well as an 8 megapixel camera. We played some space shooter game on it and it works pretty well.
At the same time we had a chance to play with Motorola Atrix 4G, another Tegra 2 phone, but this time with 1GB of RAM. It doesn’t makes any difference at first sight but it sounds cool. The Motorola phone definitely feels lighter than you would expect, and it looks great.
Both phones support 1080P HD playback and have micro USB and mini HDMI connectors. For the first time, we saw the phone playing a movie trailer and not a cartoon that we've seen so many times.
Gaming looks great with both Dungeon Defenders and the space shooter looked great.

CES 2011: To launch in Q1
We had a chance to play with both of the announced Nvidia Tegra 2 phones. We wrote quite a lot earlier about the LG Optimus 2X and today was the first time we had it in our hands.
