Galaxy S III sales hit 10 million

by on23 July 2012

In just two months

Samsung’s Galaxy S III superphone is the new black. The Korean giant managed to sell more than ten million units in just two months since the phone was introduced, beating its own estimates.

On average 190,000 Galaxy S III handsets found their way to consumers’ pockets every single day since it launched. To put things in perspective, it took Samsung more than six months to sell 10 million first generation Galaxy S handsets, while the S II hit the 10 million mark in five months.

The flagship phone is available across the globe, in large part thanks to big telcos who were keen to get their hands on as many handsets as possible.
