by on21 November 2012

1080p LTE beast available

Verizon wireless has just launched the Droid DNA, a wonderfully spec’d 5-inch phone with an 1080p screen.

Aside from the groundbreaking display, the DNA also boasts a big battery, 2GB of memory, LTE, NFC as well a Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core and many will want to get this phone for $199 with a two-year contract.

Contract free, the phone is also priced rather reasonably at $599, and it can be purchased here.

Continuous photo shooting with its 8-megapixel camera as well as Beats Audio might make a difference for some consumers, so they are worth mentioning.

It comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and with its resolution is beats just about any phone currently available in the US market.

If AT&T or Verizon are the carriers of your choice, the DNA is a good choice, while some still may opt for T-Mobile and its limited 4G network. Regardless of your choice it’s quite clear that HTC’s Droid DNA is one of the top devices that many US consumers would like to see under their Xmas tree.
