Google has released the latest Android version share list showing that Android 4.1.x Jelly Bean gaining quite a few percents, while the latest Android 4.2.x build is plagued by slow adoption due to a sheer lack of devices.
According to the chart, Android 4.1.x Jelly Bean now holds a total of 23 percent share and draws closer to Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich that currently holds 29.3 percent. Android 2.3.x Gingerbread finally dropped under 50% since last December but still holds a major share at 39.7 percent.
The biggest looser is the new Android 4.2.x Jelly Bean which grew up to 2 percent. The number does not come as a surprise considering that Google/LG Nexus 4 is currently the only device that officially has 4.2, but things will be better as soon as the Samsung Galaxy S4 starts shipping.
