Huawei Glory 4 and Alcatel Idol X+

Mediatek announced its overhyped MT6592 octa-core processor last week and now we are starting to see the first devices based on this weird Cortex A7-based SoC.

Alcatel’s upcoming Idol X+ is rumoured to be one of them. It is a 5-inch 1080p phone with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a 13-megapixel camera. However, it is still unclear whether it actually sports the MT6592, but Androidcommunity.com reckons it does.

Huawei is also introducing an octa-core phone, dubbed Huawei Glory 4. It features a 720p screen, 2GB of memory and 16GB of integrated storage, along with a 13-megapixel camera at the back. It appears to be a somewhat cheaper design, but after all we are talking about a mid-range chip. You can check it out here.
