The Xiaomi MI 4C has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 with Adreno 418 graphics, full HD 1920x1080 display in a 5 inch case. It comes with either 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM or 3GB RAM and 32GB flavours. Both have the 3080 mAh battery. The phone ships in five different colours white, grey, blue, yellow and pink. Qualcomm sold this SoC to LG for its flagship LG G4 phone.
Xiami also uses the new Type-C USB 3.0 connector and supports Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0 technology that will significantly shorten the charging times. There is a micro USB to Type-C 3.0 adapter from the company that will be an inexpensive solution for the old charger. Like most phones from Chinese manufacturers this is a dual SIM phone. We only regret that there is no microSD slot.
The 13 megapixel main camera uses Sony’s IMX258 or Samsung’s S5K3M2 ISOCELL sensors and there is a 5 megapixel front face camera for selfies. The phone is running company's own MIUI 7 operating system that runs on top of Android 5.1
The 16GB variant will sell for 1299 yuan / $204 or 182 Euro at the current exchange rate. The 32GB version sells for 1499 yuan / $235 or 210 Euro which is a good deal for such a specification.
