Expected to be available as of February 20th with a price less than 120$, the new Meizu M5s does not sound half-bad with its octa-core Mediatek MT6753 SoC, featuring eight Cortex-A53 CPU cores and Mali-T720 GPU, backed by 3GB of RAM.
It is built around a 5.2-inch 720p IPS panel placed behind a 2.5D glass and uses an anodized metal body. It will be available in versions with 16GB and 32GB internal storage, both expandable by a 128GB microSD card. It also comes with a front fingerprint scanner, rear 13-megapixel f/2.2 camera with dual-tone flash, all the usual connectivity options as well as a hefty 3,000mAh battery that can be charged from 0 to 19 percent with a 10-minute charge, thanks to new mCharge 18W technology.
The Meizu M5s measures 148.2x72.5x8.4mm and weighs 143g. It will be available in silver, gray, gold, and rose color options priced at ¥799 (US $116) for the 16GB and ¥999 (US $145) for the 32GB version.
