by on03 March 2017

Starting at €769 and £699

LG's newest flagship G6 smartphone with the 18:9 FullVision display has finally started to appear for pre-order in Europe and the UK.

In case you missed it back when it was announced, the LG G6 comes with a 5.7-inch FullVision 18:9 aspect-ratio screen and is powered by Qualcomm's well-known Snapdragon 821 SoC.

While earlier listings in Romania suggested that it could start at €700, it appears that the price was slightly down as it is currently available for pre-order in Germany at Notebooksbilliger.de for €769 inc. tax. This is an unlocked phone with 32GB of storage space and comes in Ice Platinum color. Unfortunately, the smartphone is only available for pre-order and there is no shipping date.

Spotted by GSMArena.com, the same smartphone is available for pre-order in the UK and the MobileFun retailer has the unlocked 32GB Black model listed at £699. This listing also does not have a shipping date attached to it.

Three UK carrier has already confirmed that it will be offering the device but both the availability and the price has not been revealed.

This price puts the LG G6 in the same range as the upcoming Sony Xperia XZ Premium 64GB, which is already priced at €749 on pre-order, has beefier Snapdragon 835 SoC but will come at a later date. The Huawei's P10 Plus 128GB, which was also announced at MWC 2017, currently lists at €749 in Europe.

Of course, biggest competition to the LG G6, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus will be unveiled at the special Samsung Unpacked event scheduled for March 29th.
