In addition to the Twitter announcement, which only suggests that we will see a smartphone with a flagship dual camera, Xiaomi has also confirmed the launch event at its official website and it appears it will be held in New Delhi, India.

Due to the fact that we are talking about a dual camera setup, it is most likely that we will be looking at a global launch of the Mi 5X which was only available in China but Xiaomi can still surprise us with a completely new device. Hopefully.
In case you missed it earlier, the Xiaomi Mi 5X comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS screen, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of storage and uses a dual 12-megapixel rear camera with 26mm, f/2.2 and 50mm, f/2.6 lenses.
There have been a lot of rumors regarding Xiaomi's new Mi Mix 2 smartphone which could also end up with a similar dual camera setup but all things considered, the announced New Delhi event will most likely be reserved for the Mi 5X.
