Plenty of other improvements as well

Xiaomi already launched the Oreo beta program for the Mi A1 smartphone and, according to some reports, it appears the smartphone will be getting some much-needed improvements with the official Oreo update.

Those that have tried the Oreo beta update for the Mi A1 smartphone already reported a much faster fingerprint reader action, quicker app loading, improved animations and more. Of course, it also got all the Oreo related updates including PiP mode and adaptive icons.

Xiaomi Mi A1 was quite an impressive Android One-powered smartphone, back when it launched in September and it is basically the Mi 5X with stock Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS, also known as Android One and a dual-camera setup, similar to the Mi 6.

Unfortunately, it was missing fast charging support but according to the latest report, spotted by GSMArena.com, this could change with the official Oreo update, which will only make the Mi A1 even more appealing.

Xiaomi previously promised that the final Oreo update for Mi A1 will be coming before the end of this year so hopefully, it should launch in the next few days.
