Now, the first picture shows the notched screen, but it is worth to observe that there will be a software way to get rid of the notch - if you get really annoyed by it. The screen to body ratio looks great and there is no doubt that most phones out of China and the rest of the world will have a notch in the course of 2018.
Rumors on the street are that you can expect up to a 6.28-inch Full HD+ resolution but it is quite certain that this won’t be an OLED screen. OnePlus tries to be affordable, at least in its class, and OLED is not.
There will also be a version with 6GB RAM and less storage, and the phone will offer some strong Wi-Fi performance. OnePlus 5T is an excellent phone but it runs on last years Snapdragon 835, and naturally, a 2018 phone such as OnePlus 6 deserves a brand new Snapdragon 845, a much faster SoC.
There has been a lot of talk about the OnePlus 6 pricing, but we will have to wait to get closer to the launch, or the actual launch itself, to learn about the real price. The $499 in the US and €499 in Europe sounds about right.
