Making Snapdragon 850 foldable

The dark satanic rumour mill has manufactured a hell on earth yarn that the grey box shifter Dell is working on a foldable dual-screen device.

Named after the Roman god of chaos and new beginnings, Janus which is Dell's supposedly forthcoming device, would run Windows 10 and an unreleased Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 ARM processor.

According to the German magazine WinFutureDell's device is reportedly codenamed "Januss" and has been under development since last summer.

It's not clear whether the device will ever come to market. Dell was working on mobile Windows devices before, and those devices were cancelled. Microsoft cancelled its own Surface Mini device, just weeks before it was due to be revealed.

However while the project looks interesting, the snaps that WinFuture found are rather elderly and the project might have changed shape by now.
