While the Galaxy A8s could be only coming to China, it is quite an interesting one from Samsung as it would give a general idea what to expect from Samsung's flagship Galaxy S10 smartphone that will launch globally.
As detailed earlier, the Samsung Galaxy A8s is expected to feature Samsung's new Infinity-O display, which will have a hole in the screen, rather than a notch. The screen is most likely made by BOE, a company that specializes in such screens. Another leak over at Twitter also suggested that it will lack a 3.5mm audio jack, focusing on USB-C port for audio.
A screenshot from the FCC certification pretty much confirmed earlier fan renders, which put the front camera hole at the far left part of the screen, as there is a blank part of the screen with notifications pushed slightly to the center.
The same certification also revealed that the screen is slightly taller, putting the aspect ratio at 19.5:9, while the model name should be the SM-G8870.
While there is no information regarding the Galaxy A8s launch date in China, we already wrote that the Galaxy S10 should ship in late March or early April.
