Samsung shows new Galaxy Book2 Pro 360

by on29 December 2022

With Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3

Samsung has officially announced its newest version of the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360, one powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon Gen 3 SoC.

The Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 was originally announced with Intel's CPU back in February, but now it will be getting the latest Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 SoC, a 5nm Windows-on-ARM chipset which promises up to 85 percent higher multi-core CPU performance and up to 60 percent higher GPU performance.

The design is pretty much the same, as you get the same 13.3-inch notebook with Super AMOLED screen that can flip 360 degrees and can be used as a tablet with Samsung's own S Pen stylus. It weighs 1.04kg and is 11.5mm thick.

Compared to the Intel-powered version, the Snapdragon 8cx-version gets much better battery life, reaching up to 35 hours of video playback, and better connectivity, with 5G and WiFi 6E support. It runs on Windows 11 OS.

The price is set at 1.89m KWR, which converts to about $1,500. Unfortunately, it is not clear when it will launch globally, so we'll certainly keep an eye on it.
