It took Lenovo some time as the ThinkPad X1 Fold was announced back in September 2022, and apparently, it had to undergo "significant real world user testing through a comprehensive system verification process", in order to meet the quality and functionality of the ThinkPad name.

In case you missed it earlier, the ThinkPad X1 Fold features a 16.3-inch OLED display with 2560x2024 resolution. It is powered by up to Intel 12th gen Core U9 i5 and i7 CPU, up to 32GB of LPDDR5 memory, and up to 1TB of SSD storage. The 16.3-inch screen folds to 12 inches. It also comes with a 3-speaker system, 48Whr battery, 5MP camera, two Thunderbolt 4 and one USB-C port, nano-SIM, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, an optional 5G Sub 6, and more.
