by on02 October 2024

Business-oriented with the ThinkPad design

Last year, Motorola launched the first ThinkPhone, aimed at the business market, and now, it has announced the newest update, the Motorola ThinkPhone 25, featuring deeper integration with PCs and tablets, and keeping the same iconic Lenovo ThinkPad design.

Specification-wise, the Motorola ThinkPhone 25 is a repacked Motorola Edge 50 Neo, which is not bad, as it is built around a 6.36-inch OLED 1220p resolution screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, but it still features plastic frame. It also gets aramid fiber back in Carbon Black color, IP68 rating, and MIL-STD 810H certification.

The new  Motorola ThinkPhone 25 runs on Dimensity 7300 SoC, paired up with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also comes with a 4,310mAh battery with 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The camera system is a triple-sensor one with a 50MP main one with OIS, 10MP 3x telephoto, and 13MP one behind an ultrawide lens. The front camera is a 32MP one.

The ThinkPhone 25 has all the usual connectivity options, an under-display optical fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and Motorola's own Moto Device Manager, automatic sync, shared keyboard and mouse, malware, phishing and WiFi protections, and other business-oriented features. It runs on Android 14 and Motorola is promising 5 major Android updates.

The Motorola ThinkPhone 25 is expected to be available in November, priced at €499.
